Heck yeah it counts! Looking good. I had to drive mine like that for a while before my tires and wheels arrived. What kind of tires are you going with? Also, are you getting the 32/36 or 38/38 weber? I've got the 38/38 in mine and love it. The weber along with 4.56 gears, header, ignition, and free flow exhaust really help my ole 258.

I love that color. Is that patriot blue?? I'm getting ready to paint mine next week with patriot blue. Those tires look good on it too. Those are x-terrains aren't they? Anyway, very nice jeep.

Upgrades
Quote:
Its a easy fix anyhow. When I go to check the lifters, think I will put a cam and the webber on it at same time. Right now im just trying to get it back together I took the front driveline to a shop today. Closest shop was 42 miles away They said it should be done by next friday Went shopping for a rear end upgrade, but didnt find any at the price I want to pay. I found one for 250, but it has the wrong gears, so I think ill just wait and pay more for one that has the right gears. Cost works out about the same, but its easier to get one with the right gears to start.Anyone blow up the dana 30s in the front? Im on my 3rd and last dana 35 setup Havnt broke an axel yet, just keep wiping out bearings I never let the rear end hop, but I do love the sound of smoking mudders on the blacktop![]()

I'll take lucky number 13. 92 Islander with it's 3rd paint job (I've been rearended twice, once by an armored truck) and I've always kept the same color. Looks like I'll be doing number 4 here in a year or two. The desert sands of Palm Springs tear the hell out of a good paint job.

Forgive me if this is not the right place to post but it does have to do with blue jeeps.......
Fellow Blue Jeepers, I hope you can help me out. I am planing on painting my yj this summer with its original blue. How ever I can not for the life of me find the color code plate. I looked where the Haynes manual said it was but it is not there. The only sticker I can find is stuck under front of the hood's leading edge. Only trouble is the lettering is all worn off of that sticker, so it is likely the one??? If I can't find it does any one here have a 92 YJ with a "Metalic Like Blue Paint"??? And what is your paint code number??? Thanks and Take Care Peter
