Yes people need to get out more often. That scam is 6 yrs old. You see it more on craigslist but these idiots still try ebay.

They have you email them for the buy it now price of rediculously cheap and then they make the deal happen outside of ebay and steal your money

That is a SCAM...When they put that BUY-IT-NOW for a REALLY LOW PRICE..its a scam, and them telling you to email them first..etc, etc.
