Well the minivan is going to be in the shop for at least a week. Waiting on a part to arrive (prolonged because of July 4th holiday). I found a great deal with Thrifty. $100 a week for a Wild Card. It could be the smallest or biggest vehicle on the lot.
lady I work with got rear ended a couple weeks ago, ended up with a 2013 camaro as her rental.
The last car I rented was a first generation ford focus. Biggest piece of **** I've ever sat in, absolutely amazed people bought and continue to buy them. My bias is so great if they slapped a focus label on a ferrari and gave it to me, I'd have to think hard whether or not I took it
After my accident I got a free rental. First was a Ford edge cause its all they had. Hated it and the radio didn't work. Returned it and got a 2011 ford Taurus limited. That car was stupid fun for the size.
Nissan Altima. Biggest piece of crap on the lot!!!
I'm driving an 09 Altima right now, can't stand it! The transmission went out at 70,000 something, had the dealer replace it since they extended the warranties on these things to 160,000 miles. Well, they didn't put fluid in it, ran it bone dry for a few days, checked the fluid and said "aw hell nah!". Took it back and made them replace it again, now the fluid seems to just magically disappear out of the tranny. No leaks, just gone.
Now this transmission is on it's way out again, and not even 15,000 miles have been put on it. Something tells me they didn't replace it like they were supposed to the second time.
No balls, and the front bumper cover is coming off. Tail lights are fogging, cheap plastic is my guess, and the tire pressure sensor is annoying as hell. Front passenger wheel leaks air too.
I was a Nissan fan back in the day, first car was a 97 Maxima.... it was good stuff back then, not anymore.
The goal now is for all vehicles in front of the house to be American vehicles. It's hard to find ones that were built here in America though, Jeep seems to be the easiest route for that one.
