CJ - Must have boxed frame, D44 an '86 CJ option, Locking hubs, gear driven t-case, dog V8's
YJ - EFI 4.0L, must be a 95 model, Vacuum disco a no-no
TJ - Coils, Same EFI motor, still have crappy D30, D35 axles (D44 were option)
ZJ - Wheelbase, enclosed, Room to haul gear (or camp), need a large lift for medium sized tires, V8 option, D44 option. . .
From those options? Ill take the TJ w/44(ONLY reason not a CJ is EFI) or the ZJ. And would love to have 10k to play with man.

No, not necessarily. Just some pros and cons I was kicking around.

Choose any model with any options that were available from the factory, then take your $10k and spend it.

Gotta represent. Turning is great with a brand new PS box, pump, and currie steering.

how do you have a poll on what is the best jeep and not include flatfenders.

i would rather do 45 on the high way in our 49 than cruise around in a cookie cuter tj or yj. I do own a YJ but it is not easy to mistake it with many ther yjs.

I have also owned a 96 Grand Cherokee v8 which was to be used as a tow rig

It was without a doubt the worst vehicle i have ever owned. More problems than i care to list and a total lack of towing capability, power, or reliability.

Replaced it with a ford f250 deisel and have never looked back

I would like to add that i don't think any jeep model is better than the others (except liberties) i comes down to if you take it out and really wheel it. No matter what the make or model, if a vehicle is out on the trail geting on it then it is cool in my book. Jeep, toyota or whatever it does not matter
