Yeah you may be right, a CJ would be cheaper to build. But man TJs are becoming very cheap and have a huge aftermarket of parts. I still think that Id rather have TJ over a CJ.

Okay kids, you have $10k to start with . .

What base to you build on?

CJ - Must have boxed frame, D44 an '86 CJ option, Locking hubs, gear driven t-case, dog V8's
YJ - EFI 4.0L, must be a 95 model, Vacuum disco a no-no
TJ - Coils, Same EFI motor, still have crappy D30, D35 axles (D44 were option)
ZJ - Wheelbase, enclosed, Room to haul gear (or camp), need a large lift for medium sized tires, V8 option, D44 option. . .

What a tool.

A poll for the "Best Jeep ever made" with only Wranglers and Cherokees is a crock of sh$t. I'll take plain metal dash over that new minivan looking crap any day. I hate the dash in my Wrangler. Are you driving an Astovan or a Jeep?

Whaaaa... make your own post with your own poll then. My "minivan" will walk circles around your leaf sprung jeep.
