Banks Header Cracked & Redrock4x4.com Service

My Banks manifold cracked this week after paying around 400.00 for it I was little upset that it did not last longer. I am getting tired of changing this manifold. Anyways I called Banks to get it replaced under warranty and was told I needed to send them my old one first before they would send me another. Problem was that I really did not want to be without my Jeep while Banks decides if they are going to replace it under warranty. So I emailed Jason at redrock4x4.com and he is sending me a replacement on trust that I will return the old manifold. Now that is great Customer Service and is one the main reasons I recommed http://www.redrock4x4.com to everyone you might save little money elsewhere but when it comes to getting waranty work or service his company by far makes up for the money you save elsewhere

I, too, have had really good luck with Jason just today. I have been waiting on backordered DT3000 shocks for the YJ for weeks due to a backorder from the factory. Jason has e-mailed me almost daily with updates, tracking numbers, etc. and they finally arrived last week. Well, there I was, all set up to install them Saturday morning when I discovered that the two front shocks were the wrong model. I let Jason know in an e-mail and since Sunday he has updated me 3 times to let me know that he is having the factory express-ship replacement shocks in 2 days and has already set up UPS to pick up the wrong ones from my house free of charge for the inconvenience.

I agree this is something he did not nor did I expect him to do, This goes above and beyond Customer Service.

When talking to Banks on JU they have had only like thirty sometimg return for failure or for something else out the 2500+ manifold they have sold this year. So dont think becuse mine cracked that this is the norm because it is not and I liked the manifold before and still do they are well made. I was just unfortunate to have receive one that went bad. I only made this post not to bash Banks but let people know how Jason was with dealing with me on correcting the problem

Well if he did have poor customer service, to a JF member...it would pretty much be poisoning the well.

Sorry, I had this inexplicable need to point out the obvious
