Baby eats squash

We started our little one on solids a couple of weeks ago. Here he is enjoying his squash:

For those of you that kept up with his post birth saga, he is doing great. His pediatrician says that the only way that he can tell that he was a preemie is by looking at his records. Physically, he is right on track with his height and weight. Developmentally, he is a couple months ahead of the game. At 5 months, he is already scooting around and trying to learn to crawl.

Just for kicks, my wife and I have decided to teach him sign language. We've started by trying to teach him the sign for milk. We hope it will help him let us know what he needs when he gets fussy.

This reminds me so much of our oldest daughter (now 15) when she was little like this. Usually she had a face full like yours does and it was also smeared all over the bib, high chair tray, me and the dog.

Is that like the sign for milk they used on "Meet the Fockers?"
