AWESOME new rock crawler toy, check it out

They are selling at Wal Mart and maybe Toys R Us. They come in 1:6 scale (150 bucks) or the one like I have, the 1:18 scale, for 45. They have locked axles, high/ low gearing, and awesome articulation. Mine is still charging, but from the research I have done on them, they flat out get it for a toy I will have some of my own pics up soon, but here is a link with more info. I'm retarded'ly excited

Meh its ok but ill stick with my T-MAXX. You cant beat a 4x4 RC truck thats gas powered with a 2 speed automatic with reverse that will go 45 MPH.

one must factor in the price

let me say it again, one much factor in the price

these aren't made to go fast, just function like a real crawler, also, pics in a few

and the question of the night.........

Should I try to make it look like my old Jeep with white and leave the chrome wheels, or go flat army look with olive drab and flat black wheels? The cage will be black either way

here it is with removing a few things With some dremel work, I bet i can get another 1" of wheeltravel. Right now i can get a little over 4" without lifting a tire

yea, I wish the steering and throttle were proportional like on the 1:6 model Steering is fully functional and STRONG. No worries about steering when you need to

Ah my friend you are correct. I did factor in the price, $500 for a new one is a bit expensive but I stumbled across a deal and picked mine up used for $150 running with all the starting equipment and remote, only thing wrong with was it was missing a shock and the body and chassis are a bit scratched up but im planning on swaping on a CJ-8 scrambler body soon and some new remote resivior shocks.

Sounds like a good deal

I decided to go with the olive drab/ flat black look

I am painting the whole body now, and will paint the links and wheels at some other time.

looks like fun and i want to go buy one now, but i think i will stick to the $5 wal-mart rockcrawlers and use the $40 i saved for mods to the real jeep (or gas)

no joke I had a tmaxx 3 months ago but it got as addicting as my Jeep I wanted to work on it ALL the time. So I sold it along with my airsoft gun to get a lift and stuff for my Jeep. I wanted to buy another one but I need to wait until I get a winch to be able to afford one.

not really the color I was looking for.... if it doesn't look any flatter when it's totally dry, I am taking the rest of the can back to wal mart for a refund, it looks hardly like the color of the cap

last pic I took before I tore ol' girl down
