I think that would be overkill, like a 24 speed bicycle, where the gear combinations overlap all over the place. You either need to go slow, or you don't, anything inbetween is what the transmission gets paid to do. My 4:1 tcase is really like another full range, since the 1st trans gear is about 4:1 too. That means I have no overlap (other than 5th in low range), which is fine. Simply adding a syncro low range capability to my NP231 would be enough for me, which I believe the present Atlas II already does.

kind of what I was thinking too, but I'm still interested in the specs. 1,2, 3, 4 to 1 would be cool! street, sand, mud and rocks. Us auto runners could use a little more selection.

I have a Atlas 4sp

The Atlas 4sp is the best mod I ever did to my jeep. 90 YJ AX15 4.2 35's. I run the 2.72 for the fast trails, the 3.81 for the little harder trails, and 10.1 in second gear for the hard extreme technical stuff. Also 5th should not be used in low its the weakest gear in your transmission I know mine is trashed.
