My brother did during school and a few years after he graduated. He was a geologist for a drill team, traveled all the time. The little bit I know, he would go to the next job before the drill team, pull permits, figure out where to dig, drill would come in, he would get his samples at certain feet, do a ton of paperwork, and go to the next site. He liked it but met a girl and decided that traveling 5-6 days a week was not good for a relationship. I know he wished he would have stayed with them. Now he works for Maine's EPD and is bored
