apartment managment scratched my tv screen

So a couple of weeks ago maintenance came in to my Apartment to replace my ac unit. Before hand they had asked me to move my tv out of the way for them so I did. I got home from work while the guy was still working on it, so I asked him if it was still in the way. He said he moved it over a little more but it was good. Fast foward a couple of weeks while hooking up my xbox, I noticed a couple scratches on the screen taking up a 4 square inch area. For the record this is a Samsung 42 inch full hd tv, not the best but I worked hard for it. Is there any thing that I can get managment to do, or am I just SOL

You're SOL.

2 weeks ago a guy was there, says he touched it. A couple weeks later you find scratches and assume that the guy did it. No direct evidence he did, just an assumption. If you saw him do it you would have a legit gripe. I'm guessing they're pretty minor since it took a couple weeks and you noticed them when you were up close and personal with the screen.

The guy that did the work is extremely nice and has helped me out before, so that last thing I want to do is get him in trouble.and managment is good so mabey I will just let them know and see if they so any concern. And your right about not noticing it but now that I know its there its really driving me crazy.

Unless you are prepared to push it all the way just forget it. There is no way you can "just let them know" without starting the paperwork machine and getting the guy in trouble. Or, they will deny it which will anger you and then you will want to push it and the helpful guy will get fired, hate you or both.

He knows where you live. He has a key. He probably owns many guns and has super ninja powers. Go to management and you are a dead man.

Another reason why I'll never live in another apartment given the choice. I've got nothing to hide, but having people periodically barging in to my home doesn't sit well with me.
