Where are you at in MN? They do have a place up in Gilbert(about 1 hour north of Duluth). I haven't been there yet, but I'm planning to get out there sometime this coming spring/summer. I live in Fargo so if you live anywhere near the Fargo-Moorhead area, they have some pretty fun trails down in the Sheyenne National Grasslands(about 40 miles SW of Fargo). I do have some pics from there in another thread here..... http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=321940

i know this is an old thread but i thought i would share some knowledge. duluth from burnsville, 2 and a half hours. there are other trails, but they come in the form of dnr minimum maintenance roads and they are in various areas across the state. pick up a dnr offroad brochure.

That's funny, buddy, I just got one of the DNR Off-Highway Vehicle Trail Map Booklet the other day from a kid at work. It looked like there were only three places to wheel, though. Did you find anything a little closer to the cities?
