Uh... I'm a software developer when I'm not goofing off on JF. Do you specifically mean an iphone app, or something else? What's the idea?

i want/need an APP to run an RTI ramp.
I want to be able to set the phone on the ramp and it know the angle I want to be able to up in the users name and wheel base ect and have it calculate the score, attach pic and e-mail pick and score to user. I want it to store a group of users so that I can tally a whole club and e-mail once w/ all totals....or a user can log multiple attempts to catalog his improvements as he builds his rig. i think it would be way cool, and simple math on a spreadsheet.

So get a tape measure, and enter numbers, and formulas, on a spreadsheet. I dont see the need for an "App".

Sound like a good idea to me, there is money in those apps.
Go for it. Usually though someone has already thought of it.

Yeah, good idea and should be simple. Not my bag o' tea, though. The SDK specifies something called Cocoa and Objective-C (neither of which I have any experience or interest in) Sounds like Apple-flavored C-syntax though, so it should be easy enough.

How about an ap that makes it possible for the Iphone to multitask.
Actually I have a few ap ideas and I checked. There are none like what I want. I just don't know how to write them.

OP - can you tell me what you want to do without giving away your idea totally? trying to discern if you actually need access to Apples API's and thus need a dev account, or you could just write a web app thats formatted for the iphone... |
