I bet Mr. Clifford is pretty much done with his extended wheelbase, cage, and 40's.

my 2000 XJ is almost done. i got it new, its taken me almost 6 years to get it where i've got it now. as soon as i replace the rear springs with factory units with add a leafs in them and do my carquest coils on the front, it'll be done.

i've got too many other hobbies i spend my money on.

mine's getting close to being "done"...with the exception of the parts that are here (or on a truck heading my way)...Staun internal beadlocks, Atlas 4.3:1, Rock Equipment anti-rock sway bar...

after that, most upgrades will be because something broke...not near as much modding for the heck of it...

staun internal beadlocks are a POS to install.. they take so long, its so hard, and you have to line it up perfectly. one little trick i've learned... go out and get a bottle of baby powder. the amount they give you to lube it isn't enough. and you need to make sure the thing is sitting perfectly in the tire before putting air into it - it WILL pop.

good luck and plan on spending 1 hr. + on each if you don't have ae tire machine.

Yes it is completely possible to own a Jeep, drive it offroad, and not feel any need to modify it. People whose hobby it is to modify Jeeps don't quite understand....some of us have lives and family and friends....and other hobbies....and three Jeeps.
UM, I do not have three Jeeps but I have a wife, four kids, friends, a life, other hobbies (Darn expensive guns), a mortgage, and two car payments. I am just an underpayed Soldier but I bought the Rubicon as a BASE vehicle for mods so I would not have to spend the extra money on lockers and gears later.

I have about $4,500 in mods so far and about another $5,000 to go before I think I may be 'Done'.

Good thing I saved for ten years to get this Jeep. The second round of mods is going to have to come alot slower.
