Anyone have a home surveillance system?

I'm looking to install something simple, three or four cameras. I've seen a few of the all-in-one systems at BJ's. Seems that it would serve my purposes. Anyone have one of these or other recommendations?

Yea, I do. Ones named Sam, and one named Sophie. Very friendly German Shepherds unless you here after dark, or the just plain ole don't know ya.

Try Directlvs - Security & CCTV Marketplace. They have reasonable 4 cam systems. I have dealt with them for years. They stick by their products, and treat their customers right.

I've got a WiseComm wireless system. I only have one camera, but other cameras can be added. I've had the camera mounted outside for 2 years and it still works just fine. You can set it up to record on your PC hard drive and set it up to monitor from a remote location. You can also set it up to record on a VCR. Time lapse VCR's are pretty cheap on eBay now........I have mine set up on a spare input on my tv. If I see my motion lights go on at night, I can flip the channel and see what triggered them.

I was thinking the same thing when I clicked on this thread....I have a similar surveillance system. Two German Shepherds named Kane and Kiah.

When I lived in the woods I had a Shepard, A coon hound two mules and a donkey. Get within about four hundred yards of the house and it sounds like Ringling Brothers just started setting up!
