Anyone good with powerpoint?

I'm looking for how to batch processing in powerpoint. I have a couple thousand images (all same size) I want to insert into powerpoint, say 4 or 6 images each page. Sit there and manually insert them all dosen't sound like much fun at all. So I wonder does powerpoint has a way to auto insert and arrange all the images according to template once give the location of the images? The version I have is powerpoint 2000.

I don't think powerpoint is that advanced, but I could be wrong. what's the final product that you're looking for and I might be able to lend some advice?

forget my last post... I found a way to do it in powerpoint. start by having all your pictures in the same file. then in the tool bar, go to Insert > Picture > New Photo Album. When that screen comes up, choose from File/Disc and select all the pictures in the file (CTL+A). then under album layout, you can choose the layout per slide, 4 in your case. then hit create and go from there.

I have Office 2005, so hopefully you'll be able to do this in 2000. let me know how it works.

Hmm, mine dosen't seem to have that function. But thanks for letting me know it can be done, I'll just need to find a computer with that version, which should be easy.
