Fill up your Jeep with family and friends and join 400 other Jeepers for Jeep Beach 2006! It’s all waiting here for you when Jeepers from all over gather on the hard-packed sands of the Daytona Beach. As new hosts for Jeep Beach, the Mid-Florida Jeep Club has developed a fun-filled weekend geared for all Jeep owners from the pavement lover to biggest pig-pen at heart. Don’t miss the opening social, trail ride, show and shine, picnic, vender fair, baseball games, beach parade, beach party or the fireworks.

Over 100 Jeep owners have volunteered for nearly a year to make Jeep Beach 2006 bigger and better than ever. Below is our schedule and run package. Please make copies as necessary and help us spread the word. The 2006 Jeep Beach beneficiary charity is Second Harvest Food Bank

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, MAY 19
REGISTRATION AND OPENING SOCIAL
4pm – 8pm Red Tails on Beach Street in downtown Daytona Beach

Get your Jeep Beach schedule, event wrist bands, activity tickets and check out the 2006 Jeep Beach merchandise. Stay for our Opening Social with great drink and tasty menu specials just for Jeepers.

SATURDAY, MAY 20
REGISTRATION
8am – 10am City Island Pavilion in downtown Daytona Beach.

TRAIL RIDE
8am – noon Trail Ride – With over 100 Jeeps participating in last year’s trail ride, we made this year’s ride suitable for every comfort level from mild to wild. And don’t sweat the mud – we will have a hosing station to wash off your Jeep, and you if necessary, at the Show and Shine.

SHOW & SHINE, PICNIC AND VENDOR FAIR
9am – 4pm – City Island Pavilion in downtown Daytona Beach. Bring your Jeep and your appetite for the Jeep Beach Show & Shine and Picnic. Look for the registration tent near the entrance to participate in the competition. Beverages are available all day for a donation with a catered picnic lunch from 1pm to 3pm.

Three raffles will be on sale including a 50/50 Raffle, a Progressive Raffle with prizes awarded every 15 minutes and our very own Choice Raffle for the really big Jeep stuff. The 50/50 Raffle winners and Choice Raffle winners along with the Show & Shine winners will be announced starting at 4pm.

The Jeep Beach Vendors Fair is set-up next to the picnic area attached to the famous Daytona Beach Farmers Market.

DAYTONA CUBS GAME AND FIREWORKS
7pm – Join us for Jeep Night with the Daytona Cubs at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Daytona Beach’s very own professional baseball team will be playing Tampa followed by fireworks! Look for the special Jeep Beach section for seating.

SUNDAY, MAY 21
JEEP BEACH PARADE
Ever see 75 Jeeps cruising down the beach at once? Join us in turning heads on the beach and don’t forget the cameras. Parade participants should meet at City Island in downtown Daytona Beach (same location as the Show and Shine) by 9am sharp for the annual Jeep parade on the beach. The parade enters the beach at the Silver Beach entrance and continues south to the Hawaiian Inn

JEEP BEACH CLOSING PARTY
10am – 2pm – Hawaiian Inn, 2301 South A1A, End Jeep Beach with a relaxing day of sand, surf and Jeep games. Live band, drink and food specials at the Hawaiian Inn Pool Deck and games on the beach.
