Met my girl online about a year ago. Couldn't be happier! The bar scene got old so I tried a different avenue.

met my current gf online while i was piss drunk, she was dating one of my best friends back then and i just randomly started talking to her.

it's been four years now, and we'll prob get engaged within the next year.

i'd say the online thing worked out for me pretty good

As mentioned earlier there's not really a stigma attached to finding someone online anymore. To get out of the local dating pool, which was stagnant for years, I met quite a few women online, had a few dates and eventually met my wife back in 2003. Good luck and go into with an open mind. HTH

I RE met Kim on Match .com. I hadnt seen her in 20 years then, saw her profile on Match.com. Sent her an e-mail. We have been together two and a half years since then. I have never been happier. Do what you want man. I'm glad I did.

What happened to your last "girlfriend"? You know, the one who broke into your friends house and stole all his car crap. Remember? The one that you always bought crap for cause she was too lazy to get a real job and it was just easier to mooch offa your wallet. That one.

Man, one day I had her in her undies, and I was ready to kill the cat when she said I only could look until we got married, but to get married she wanted to see the house she would be living in for the rest of her life, after that I took her to her place, left, blocked her number from calling my phone, erased her phone off my contact list, and I didn't go to that gym anymore, now I go to another gym which is actually nicer.

The important thing you should ask yourself is both

"Why do you need to use the internet to find girls?"
and
"Why does she needs to use the internet to find guys?"
Right there.

That's my excuse. Everyone I know is married, I really dislike the bar scene ala meat market, and my job is totally dominated by guys or lesbians. I have very, very limited chances to meet women. I was totally sick of blind dates too. My friends have terrible taste.

I met the girl I am dating through a local online group. It's been two months now, holy crap, can't believe I am saying that.

I know of a couple of guys at work who met their wives online. It's no big deal to do so now.

Well I think it is great that there is a place to meet intresting people without having to see them in person untill you get to know them. Just as long as you understand it is hard to tell if they are lyeing to you about their sex untill it is to late.
