Park on top of his ride! I kid, seriously tho go talk to him, it could be a misunderstanding.
I have a open driveway to all Jeeps and Fords. Just don't block both ends.

What is it getting played out to much?
When you find something that works just keep with it.
Burn house down

We had a nice guy try something like this once, so we got some wheel dollys and had some fun with him... About once a month we'd move his car around the block... or buy your own boot and watch him try to take it off...

So you rent a house that has a detached garage and driveway.
Party supply guy rents the garage.
You and the wife park in the driveway and have an agreement with the party guy about giving him easy access to the garage when he needs it.
Does the Toyota belong to the party guy or someone else? If its not the party guy, it seems like the two of you should figure out who has dibs (who's rental agreement is it in) on the driveway. Then get the Toyota towed. If the driveway is a grey area, contact the landlord and figure it out. Or, block in the Toyota when its parked there.

The way I'm interpreting this is its just a neighbor from a few houses down with no agreement to park on said driveway.
To me, this is trespassing, plain and simple. Have the renter call the 5-0 next time he is there parked illegally

All of this speculation does you no good, we don't have any direct contact.
CALL YOUR LANDLORD.
Ask him for details, or if you can post some signs.

the propery owner can have it towed. which is what I would do.
People in general can get out of control with parking rules. One thing that really gets to me is people parking in handicap spaces. I have sort of a side job at my apartment complex as a courtesy officer. If I do not stay on top of it, people will began parking in the handicap spots like its going out of style. I give 'verbal warnings' to first time offenders or leave a note on the car with my card. The 'verbal warning' may work for a few days, but after that 'some people' will began parking in handicap again. Which is basically spitting in my face and the only way to keep them out if issuing them tickets with fines. Once it gets to this point I usually have our handicap parking enforcement mail them a ticket which is like $400. I try not to personally write the tickets because I dont want my car keyed or anything. But if I have to I will.
There was a dodge charger parking in handicap about every night right near where my apartment is. I left a note on his windshield warning him not to. He did it again. I didnt know which apartment he stayed in so I put a warning on EVERYONES door. He did it again. I contacted our handicap parkiing patrol and they gave me some of the tickets they use when they ride around and leave on peoples windows. I left three $400 tickets on this charger from where he parked in the spot all weekend. One for each day. The next the morning after the guy sees his tickets, he has was such a piece of crap he went into the office of the apartment raising H***. They called me, I go in there and I thought I was going to have to tase the guy. He wouldnt calm down and I had to arrest him for disorderld conduct on my day off. When the court date rolled around they put him on a payment plan for all the handicap violations and disorderly conduct. He still lives out here and has not illegally parked since. But it took ALL that.

Someone might have said this, however, I didn't feel like reading all replys.
Why don't you just talk to the guy? That's probably the easiest thing to do.
I had to do this with some kid who kept parking on the street next to my lot to go to his girlfriends house across the street. Why he couldn't park in front of her house, I don't know. He didn't listen to me, so the next time I cut the lawn, I made sure I cut it when he was parked there with his windows down.
The guy did it again, so I piled a few Sharp Yucca plants where he was parking. - This worked!

Park behind him and block his truck so he has to come to you and ask you to move

I was gonna say confiscate his valve cores but like your idea better.
But it's gotta be done when he's parked somewhere else so he doesn't mess with your ride.
Obviously this won't stop him from parking in your spot but it will make you feel soooo much better

Take a TINY pebble and put it inside of his valve stem caps. Screw them on. Slowly will begin to flatten.
Or, take a stick of lead weights, like 10 oz. Stick them on the inside of one of the wheels.
Or disconnect his muffler just enough to cause an audible exhaust leak.
Or take his license plates and park them nearby in a visible location with a note on them.

I can tell by his demeanor when he finds the notes that its not just a misunderstanding and we'd have problems. Everyone that lives there seems to be related and from my window I can't tell who it is or what apt he lives in. Hopefully after today the message will get through. I saw I think it was the guys new girlfriend driving his car toady so maybe she parked there by accident and he was the one that found the note and moved the car idk
