I've never fallen but being 5'7" sucks when you have a lift and no rocker guard/nerf bar step.

I've smacked my head on the rollbar when diving into the jeep.

Not in the TJ ,but fell out the passenger side of the YJ one night after a friend brought me home from a night out. Did a perfect butt to head landing.

I have plastic adhesive sill protectors that go on the bottom of the door opening. I have ripped the hem out of 3 pairs of dress pants whenever they get caught getting out of the jeep. For some reason this only happens on my way TO an appointment, never after the appointment and coming home.

With all these people getting injured getting into and out of their Jeeps I'm surprised someone somewhere hasn't tried to sue Jeep for a faulty design

Just the opposite here....I slipped into the TJ while stepping over my rocksliders. It felt like I ripped my sack . No funny, just lot's of burning pain.

I did that in an off-camber situation once.

Didn't hurt my self but my pride got a bit bruised when getting out of my TJ and caught my foot on the bottom of the door opening which flipped me around and onto my face in Sear's parking lot. No one else saw it.

I think.

This is slightly a digression, but have y'ever watched people getting into conventional cars? It's amazing to me how closely most people's heads pass under the doorframe as they duck into the vehicle--nobody ever seems to hit their heads, even in vehicles unfamiliar to them, yet most people pass within a whisker of the roof frame and if they did hit, it would be pretty hard. The things our bodies do automatically can be pretty amazing.

And, I haven't fallen out of my TJ yet, but if I do it will be like Photojeep when my foot catches the door sill on the way out. Came close a couple times.

This past summer I had the hard top on and the doors off, I was going to jump into the seat after filling it up with gas and my side hit the pointy part of the hard top right by the latch and it left a 4 inch gash, I didnt have a shirt on though, I was about to ride the jet ski.

I used to work on cranes in a yard and had to wear a hard hat, it's funny you'd duck under something to clear your head and whack the hard hat!
The pain would go right down your neck!
I guess it's an unconscious "self body knowledge"

I haven't fallen out of my TJ but have caught the belt loops.

I've got a tow hook in my receiver on the back. I had the tailgate open and was wiring some stuff in the trunk last week. I jumped out of the back and slipped (beer involved) but the tow hook caught my tailbone and broke my fall.

Hurt.
