Any new bacon creations for Super Bowl?

I am thinking about trying the bacon log this year.

Are there any new bacon creations out here?

yes but would need to season or bread the chicken or it will be bland.

I'd do them like naked wings. wrap, fry, sauce

Funniest thing that I've seen today is this thread title. This thread contains everything that makes JF such a great place (and no, it's not solely bacon.)

To stay on topic, no, I haven't heard of any recent advancements in the field of bacon.

Just cook the bacon and overdo it a little bit. Make a LOT of it and then break it into 'chips' and server it in a big bowl.

Every year for the super bowl party my wife takes smokey links and wraps them with pieces of raw bacon then coats them with brown sugar. She cooks them with the oven broiler until the bacon is done....... these things are worse than crack!

Breaded wings? Yuck, that's how hooters does them.

I'm thinking to marinate the wings in malibu rum and tabasco, then wrap in bacon and fry as normal.

Or. Chunks of fresh pineapple, wrapped in bacon and grilled.

My wife cooks brown sugar coated bacon on a oven rack that fits on a cookie sheet. Makes really good BLT's.
