I was answering Dimmy's question of furries wearing boots and and telling you what those people are at the same time... not relating boots to that picture.

Dimmy was making an awesome allusion to the Black Sabbath song "Fairies Wear Boots."

Dimmy = win

Nice drawing! I'd add a little bit of fang out for a more cute/playful touch .

Actually macman, I kind of understand where you're coming from. I participate in medieval re-enactment, the SCA, particularly. You have a second identity when you are amongst other re-enactors, including a different name, historically accurate handmade clothes, accessories, armor & weapons, tents, etc. I think my escapist hobby is cooler, though.

For those who are wondering, my group is not full of those lame, sci-fi loving geeks you see on youtube. We do combat using 1 1/4'' rattan staves fashioned into swords, axes, etc., with steel helmets and boiled leather/steel armor. None of that PVC pipe wrapped in foam crap. We got names for those guys, which are not appropriate for GD.
We're comparable to the Civil War re-renactors. We strive for historical accuracy, and you learn a lot about history in the process.
You'll never see some 15 year old dweeb in Reeboks and a Dracula cape running around shouting "Magic missile!" at people, either. We'd clap him in irons and deliver him as a gift to Pookie, our resident eunich.

to 0okami... thats really good and yah you should draw some furries then put them on this thread. o and thats not my drawing.. i wish i could draw that good, but im workin on that

to SamYJ... ya its good to know you have a reasoning mind that knows that theres escapist hobbies that can be cool and that you have those people in ur fandom or group that just make it look so bad and you hate them for it but then the trolls show up and attack you. Well they prolly don't go after you like us furries get hammered on. Also you used the word i was lookin for, a second "identity" not a second "personality" cause usually u try a carry your personality over to your second identity and then sometimes improve it as well.

perhaps you have been been only seeing licensed herd feed? i dont mean to hijack thread but there are many good unlicensed stuff airing/done airing. I guess it depends what you like. Macademi Wasshoi! and Kanokon are pretty good. lots of kemono mimi in there.
