BSME Lafayette College '06 ... I'm stuck in a cubicle and can't wait to get out.

If you can last 4 years in school, good for you.

I work for an engineering firm in Alexandria, VA called Michael Baker. Odd thing is I got my degree in Nursing (go figure).

Either way, I'm still coddling babies.

No but seriously, if you are into it, it can be a great job. If you're like me (constant need for variation) it can be a nightmare.

.

Mechanical Engineering - very diversified as to which industry-you have them everywhere; intense; usually not "large" projects (dimension wise).

Civil Engineering - eventually can be "large" projects if you consider a typical civil engineering application you see (especially during the summer time....). If you could, I would minor in Architectural or Structural - could take you some interesting places.

Me? Mechanical/Pneumatics. It's ok though I had originally wanted to go Industrial Engineering.
