Another Star Wars Movie?

Just saw a preview for it. Now they're animating star wars.

I'll be honest, first impressions left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm afraid they're going to ruin a good franchise.

Here's a pic:

I saw a teaser for it a while ago. I thought it was a video game.

I thought lucas was done with making more SW movies? And why ad another one in between existing parts? Why not work on the last three (the three that were supposed to never be made).

A cartoon kind of takes it to a kid's level. I don't think I will be watching it.

this is a continuation of a Clone Wars series they did on Cartoon Network a couple years ago.
takes place between Episodes 2 and 3 in the SW timeline.

the series really isn't all that bad.

the first series was 3 minute shorts, the second was extended to like 15 minute ones, and storywise led directly into Episode 3.

you can't ruin Star Wars anymore than the introduction of Jar Jar Binks (and the Holiday Special) did.

(Sw was always mostly for kids anyway, as far I can tell).

Doesn't even look remotely entertaining to me, and I loved all the others, but I'm sure the minions will be lined up outside the theater for days again when it's released.

It's a theatrical pilot for a new TV series.

I dunno, could it suck worse than the prequels?

Eh....just don't watch it. I was in the third grade when Star Wars came out. Every little nerd in the school ran around playing with their Star Wars dolls, I mean "action figures". I didn't see it then, haven't seen it yet, and likely won't ever see it.

He's already ruined it with the last three crappy movies.

The clone wars miniseries was better than the 3 latest movies. I will be in the theater on opening weekend.

You cant do any worse than jarjar or ewoks. Maybe a giant jarwok monster.

Cant wait to see asajj in action.

I don't see the point of this movie. He's already done the Clone Wars toons (bigj1974 pointed out). I wish he would fill in the gap between Ep3 and Ep4.

Actually, I wish he would come out and say "Hey, I was just joking with those last three movies. Here are the real ones".

Hmmm......maybe they'll get 're-mastered'.

Unfortunately I don't think any degree of remastering will fix the dialog.

Lucas was surrounded by too many ****ing yes men during the production of the prequels.

What do you reckon the odds are that the SW movies will ONLY be available as a 6 film boxed set with no way to separate the wheat from the chaff?
