Well, I woke up last Thursday and my t-bolt screen stopped working. So I broke down and got a DNA. And rooted it, don't know how people live with standard phones. Screw all the ads and factory loaded crap. All I can say is wow. Streaming NHL in hi def and its amazing. 2 downsides so far, no kickstand, and I opted to remove the usb cover

Unlocking is now illegal, as of last weekend.

I can't wait for the GS4 to come out. Upgrade it due in April. Quadcore, 1080p, great overall design too.

Unlocking and rooting are two totally different things. The illegal part is taking a phone that is set up for Verizon and unlocking the software so it can be used for AT&T, sprint, etc.

Atleast that's how it was explained to me

if you can make a verizon phone work on at&t you should also try the whole water to wine thing

but the kicker is verizon will only unlock phones purchased from them... which could mean they might say no if you bought a used phone... same could be said of other carriers...

BTW this is all impossible to enforce... the only thing it really affects is how easy it is to find instructions (and apps for those phones that have unlocking apps) for unlocking the phone

just another example of old men who make laws not knowing dick about technology

you are confusing the two of them, rooting and unlocking a phone are two completely different things.

do a google search on unlocked phones in europe, they are sold on the open market. they are unlocked, not rooted

Then I may be calling on your skills to help me root

I think you can side load flash after you put on a custom ROM. Havent read up too much on it. Glad youre liking that DNA btw. The screen is nuts.

Adobe is dropping flash support for android. It sucks
