Andrew Felez funeral
Not sure if you guys know about this or not. A family here in town has lost* their two sons in the military. One was killed about a year ago in Iraq, the second one died in Afghanistan. The nutty group from Kansas decided to show up for the funeral and protest. Over 1000 bikes showed up..they started chanting about how God hates soldiers etc. Pretty impressive to hear 1000 harley's start up and drown the ****** bags out. Service Members

Those people are nutty primitive Baptist's. Flame me away, but this is organized religion gone wrong here. I first heard these guys on Stern's show, he doesn't condone, just let them say their piece and then gave them sh*t for it.
On their website, Godhates***s.com, they even have a scedhule as well as other rhetoric bullsh*t. One of their big things is to go protest or disrespect as I see it soldiers funerals. They went to one in Maryland a while ago. Several of us from work went up to show support for the family of the soldier, but got lost and missed the whole service. They are *******s and regardless of the first amendmant or whatever you wish to say to defend them, they need a *** beating in a big way. It's only a matter of time before they are confronted in a way that will bring them a fate which they deserve in my opinion. Warning: Bullsh** and religious rhetoric ahead http://www.godhatesfags.com/main/index.html Site linked not for advertisement, but so you can see what *******s they really are, and using their religion to present it to you. ![]()

Does anybody want to go protest outside their church? Be loud and say God hates them? It would be funny maybe we can get them to hit us and then theyll go to jail.

You can know religion and still not know God.
Ask any Atheist who has studied the Bible. I'm a Southern Missionary Baptist, you won't see any of us protesting at a funeral. As a matter of fact, did you guys hear about the Southern Baptists that got stuck on the enchanted island at Disney? They refused to ride on anything called a fairy (ferry for you grammatically correct scholars).

No joke, they are headed to two more funerals very soon.
We have several "primitive" Baptist's churches locally. Not sure what makes them primitive, maybe beliefs and what's studied only? They do seem to have a crapload of children though. Yea I'd like to go stand across from their church alright. Someone firebombed one of their vans years ago. Didn't hurt anybody, just fired it up in their driveway.

These guys (or another ignorant group) came to my High School last year to protest against the Gay/Straight Allaince. It shames my heart that people like this exist, and much more so that we (apparently) believe in the same God. They have taken a good message and perverted it.
I would love to hear their views on Islam. They would probably decry all Muslims as infidels, instead of hard working, devoted worshippers. In my mind, I equate these Radical Babtists to the Radical Muslim Fundamentalists, radicalism is the biggest crime against religion that there is. It doesn't matter what religion you are, muslim, christian, hindi, what have you, this is not right. These people, while exercising their right to free speech, are preaching a message of hate. I haven't seen that anywhere in the bible, and I've read that book. Its not in there. And it saddens me that they think this is ok. But good for those harleys!

I'm suprised the bikers didn't kick the **** out of them....I know if I was a family member and they showed up at a funeral I was attending they'd find out real quick wheteher or not God hated fags cause I'd send them off to talk with him face to face.
On a side note, I've heard the guy who heads up that group is a lawyer and likes to sue when his protests are stopped for having his "rights" violated. I think his "church" may be nothing more than a money-making machine. As for his followers, I saw one giving an interview on one of the news shows...they are just straight up insane. I'm feel for that family. Losing one child would be bad enough, but for both of them to be gone...

Before the end of his legal career in 1989, Phelps will file some 400 suits, mostly in federal court. Estranged son Nathan Phelps will claim later that part of his father's strategy is to file frivolous lawsuits in the hope that his targets will settle to avoid the costs of defense.
