thanks, the Canadian military is all trained to handle the problems as well. This team work doing their normal things and are just a team that have specific extra training and are able to deploy on a moments notice.

Simple enough.

No need to get all worked up about it, its not that important.

I've always thought of Canada as the US's little brother.

And here we go for round two... Where's the Rob/War Eagle tag team when you need 'em to add some comic relief to a discussion that has gotten too serious???
No, the US does not have a service dedicated specifically to international aid. That being said, with the failure of FEMA in the NO mess, I dont think an international aid unit would be to the best of our advantage nor to those we are helping. Finally,
international aid has just pissed me off for the most part. I understand helping out people, really I do, its just that we sent $350 million to the tsunami victims and that was "still not enough." Who the **** do we look like the bank? Seen the national debt here lately dumb ****s? Of course, not that they care, so long as we continue to dole out money for them. Hell, I would've kept it at $35 mil (or nothing since they complained about our giving them that much) and told them to stick it up their ***.

National Guard and the Army Reserves.
But other RA units may be used as well.

I think you are correct, ther is no one dedicated international team. From what I have read and spoken to members about, depending on the disaster size, location, etc... there are both military and civilian federal teams that can be mobilized/deployed to assist in disasters and/or international incidents.
