I feel like top gear and american top gear shouldnt be compared. Yes they have the same name, yes they are pretty much the same show, but they are totally different at the same time. Its an american show and it beats the crap out of pretty much every other car show on tv here

Dear G-d must we keep having hybrid pushing hippies as the big star people?
I mean, Tony Hawk rocks but who gives a **** that he is driving a hybrid lexus? Clarkson would still be giving him **** about it.

Ok, I'm going to eat my words. He also owns a 600whp Belle tuned SRT8 GC.

I was just thinking that right now.

The show is getting better I guess but I'm trying to stop comparing them. The track they have celebrities going around isnt as fun to watch either

I think the camera angles on the track just aren't good which is what makes it not as much fun. Overall so far this episode is leaps and bounds better than the others.
Tanner's Fiero failing on the incline hill was great, and to have it hit the Adam's big Olds was great.
Very well done American spin to the British Weyland episode.
I can picture Hammond leaping out of his car saying "Oh, thats not gone well!"
And they are even starting to hit each other's cars. They are learning.

God... I watch BBC Top Gear and find myself learning AND laughing my *** off... It's an incredible show. The US Top Gear shares nothing with the Brit version other than the name. It is, as our over seas neighbors would call it, total rubbish.

That Cutlass was nice. Sad to see it get torn up like that. It Would have been a perfect project car.

Tim Allen is next week's Big Star Small Car.
I loved this last episode. The Miami to Key West run was great. Adam got harassed by the cops, and Tanner got in some great jokes in about our "cross the pond" neighbors while he was testing the Morgan.

You ever think that the history channel has a way to look for tg related stuff in forums and such then takes the ideas it gets and puts them in the show? It is getting better that's for sure.

It's got new breaks. That can't be good but on the bright side, they must have fixed the old breaks.
