I been going to the Badlands for 7 years & have my own jeep club.

www.JeepsGoneWild.org

Your jeep will do just fine even if its 100% pure stock with stock tires. Quite a few in our club have stock jeeps and join us all the times on our trail runs. Some even do the advanced trails without MT tires, a Lift, Lockers and more. So, Your jeep will do fine as I have mentioned.

I would suggest to have someone join you with another jeep or someone who has a 4x4. One should never go offroading alone. If possible, If you see a small group at the Badlands going on a trail ask if you can join them & tell them its your first time offroading. 90% of the time the group will gladly have you join in.

I do like to tell you about the "colors" of the trails from easy to advanced... Its not really that accurate at times... some parts of the "green" as they call it the easy trail can be scary for a new driver that does not offroad as much. There are other trails called Yellow, Pink, Red, Blue,White, Orange and Some are pretty difficult.

I say just drive around where you feel comfortable & test out your jeep.
Feel what it can do & enjoy it.

I suggest to find a local friendly jeep club & join it. You will have a great time with the club, offroading, meet new friends & will learn lots about this wonderful hobby.

Enjoy & When in Doubt ..Don't Do It!
