All sorted now after a few things done.

Got my XJ last year, and was lucky enough to get very cheap here in the UK
as Gas prices so high, people not wanting big heavy juicy cars.
Wanted a few things done, as was going to be my daily drive, as I have a V8 2008 Mustang as my toy. so got rear leaf springs changed and dampers re bolted as snapped off as per usual (Thanks to this forum for help in the easy fix on this) Wheels re furbished with new tyres. (Sorry Tires lol ) Rear brakes used to stick on which is common according to on here, but replaced rear handbrake cables, as were burnt re touching exhaust, and two new cylinders. No sticking now, and brakes better. New Cat Plus rear box. And finally, just replaced the cracked manifold, again common according to here, with a stainless steel one.
Now quieter, and drives fine. Not for off road, so no lift or big wheels, albeit I love some of the pics on here of the "Sorted" ones.
Even with all the stuff done, still a cheap car here. Love it, as my 3rd one.
Again thanks to all who helped, and regards to all. Pic of mine in Essex England.
But BEFORE rear springs were done, hence looking saggy in these shots. Les

Thanks mate, funny as everyone says same here, and then How Old? Really LOL
Original owner had it 12 years, and was serviced by main agent all that time.
2nd owner was fastidious, albeit work done by himself, but kept records of everything. Even have EVERY Mot (UK Govt 12 month test) in the car last 15 years. I paid so little for it, so chuffed with it. My love is American cars, hence Mustang in the Garage. I am the Essex Sec for The Mustang Owners Club GB.
Cannot stand Euro cars as so boring. Best regards Les

Is chuffed a good thing?

I'm going to assume chuffed is a good thing.

I do like the term "Big Juicy Cars" for some reason.

Jeep yesterday topped up from a quarter tank to full £75 = $115 approx US
Muzzie (if Low) usually put in if going to a Car Show cruise etc £60 = $92 approx US
Our fuel is 3/4 Tax
Everyone is complaining about it. Crazy.
