98 cherokee stalls, stalls, stalls, then runs fine

Pulleeeze help!! My '98, 4.0, 6 cyl. Cherokee (Sport? Bought used. Has Police Package, no insignia) starts, stalls, starts, stalls, runs, keeps running, stalling, running for a mile or so, then runs for a while longer then tries to stall again and after a few miles, runs just fine. After sitting for a few hours the whole cycle repeats itself. Tried STP Gas Treatment and Sea Foam fuel system cleaner. Computer check shows no codes. Check engine light not on. This started after two straight weeks of rain, if that's a clue.

Does it have a distributor or coil packs?

93 YJ SOA 2" springs front, XJ springs rear w/main leaf added, High pinon 9 inch rear detroit locker front Dana 44 ARB 4.56 Gears, 36 inch Irok tires too much to list.

98 will have cap, rotor and wires.

If it restarts right away I'd clean the IAC.

my bet is on the IAC or TPS as well. when ours went bad sometime we would start it and it would idle at 3k we would shut it off and it would be fine The IAC and TPS can do all kinds of weird things.

Plan on only driving it 1/4 of the time and it should run great!
