2014 GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado Revealed

Pickuptrucks.com-2014 Sierra/Silverado

Thoughts? I'm personally a little underwhelmed. Engines are all retuned carryovers (Not that there's anything wrong with the 5.3L and 6.2L, but the 4.3L is waaaaay behind Ford's 3.7L and Ram's 3.6L). Interiors are nicer, but they're not any better than Ford and, amazingly, not as nice as Ram's.

Outside, it looks like they just updated the look of the 4th-gen C/K-which, given that those were the last great trucks GM ever made, isn't necessairly a bad thing.

Agreed. It looks very similar to the current models. Too similar to be a new model, anyway.

I do like you can now get a crew cab halfton with a 6.6 bed. Not the silly 5ft bed. It does seem much like the old model just updated. Just like dodge did in 2007.

I'm forever grateful to Speedycat and RnEmOvr for their generosity

Anyone else think that the 07' + Silverados are absolutely hideous? The Sierras don't look too bad.

So... did you even read anything about the engines? They are totally different from the ls style motors currently used. The only thing that is the same is displacement. Even the 4.3 is all new.

Im interested in seeing the hp/torque and tow ratings.

Crap picture, but I just picked it up and washed it. Like the look sooooo much more than the Silverado.

Agreed. The GMCs look much better, IMO, than the Silverados.

I wonder how often you'll have to replace fuel pumps and intake manifold gaskets on the new GM trucks .........

When I buy a P/U will be a Ram2500 or 3500 with a CTD
