Defense - 9
Denver - 8

Owned. Didn't even need the offense.

I will look up the run to pass ratio tomorrow but three colts ran far more running plays than the Broncos did, just saying. And just because tbey only scored one td by running,g doesn't exclude the fact they ran the ball.

And the Bears did far worse in that game. Rex was awful, awful, awful.

Yeah I don't remember who the RB was (Addai had a solid game too I think) but he had a pretty monster game considering it was all Peyton/Harrison/Wayne/Clark back then. I think the unexpected rain changed up the game plans quite a bit for both teams.

Biggest mistake the bears made was Hester returning the opening kick, they didn't kick or punt it to him again all game, field position or not, no QB or rb could produce behind that o-line, 5 grown turn styles. Pathetic

The hero of that game was RB Dominic Rhodes. He actually should've received the MVP. One of my all-time favorite Colts.

The defense and running game showed up in a huge way in the playoffs that year. Addai and Rhodes couldn't be stopped. The Super Bowl was pretty boring but the playoffs were fantastic, especially the AFCCG. I still tear up a little when I hear Lamey's broadcast of Marlin Jackson intercepting Brady to seal the win. Chillzzzz.

Yeah, Rhodes...forgot his damn name. Should have been the MVP easily. That Bears defense was solid.

Except against the run, which is why it was exploited
