Ovi has a decent chance at doing 50 goals in 50 games if he plays out of his mind. Currently has 26 goals in 31 games this season and 49 goals in 52 games dating back to last season. I think it's possible but it's definitely not gonna be easy. Would be amazing to see him get it.

Even though I ain't a Ovi fan I have a ton of respect for his skill and wouldn't mind seeing him or any player do it. Rather see Crosby or Malkin get it but if any player could it would be great for the sport.

See, Crosby or Malkin won't get close for two reasons.

1. Too many damn players on the Pens have the ability to score

2 Crosby doesn't score enough, more of a set up guy than anything.

Ovi (right now) is apparently the only one able to score on the caps it's absolutely terrible and I hate it. Our lack of scoring from other lines/players is atrocious.

Ovi is on pace for 74 goals this year, and frankly I'd love to see it.

Or if he managed to get 50 in 50.

It's very hard to stay that hot for a full season but if anyone can do it, it's that guy haha.

Although I despise the flyers I respect what they did for the Army solider that came home and wanted to surprise his family. NHL has a video on their web page and it is awesome. Those videos never get old, especially around this time of year with the holidays.

Gudbranson should be hearing from the NHL this weekend/next week for that high elbow hit to the head of Eric Fehr tonight. Guy is garbage.

Caps rookie Grubauer stood on his head in net tonight. Caps didn't deserve the win but they got a point by going to the shootout and losing. Can't get em all.

Thornton sent Orpik an edible arrangement as an apoology. Seriously dude?

I'm guessing the outlook isn't too good for his suspension.

edit: NEVERMIND. Was some stupid joke on SB Nation. I only saw the headline at first and was like WTF lol. Then clicked it and read it. Kinda bad.

Leafs played great tonight. They really need a win like this to boost spirits. After our lose to the Blues.

Malkin injured. Hope for a speedy recovery.

In other news, I tried watching the Buffalo/Calgary game today and damn near fell asleep.

Lost Letang before the game and Engleland will be suspended 5+ games for his stupid elbow to the head hit. Penguins are now without their top five defensemen

What's funny is you guys will still find a way to win

1-1 Caps/Flyers so far. Doesn't seem like the Flyers want to go with their goonish ways tonight but it's only the end of the first, lots of gametime left.
