Emery was on fire last night. It's hard to beat a goalie when they are hot.

Surprised he didn't skate down the ice and go after Fleury

But I agree, it's why the Caps have such a hard time beating the Rags, Lundqvist. I think the Pens and Caps will be the two strongest teams in the Metro Division consistently.

It doesn't get around the fact that the West is absolutely stacked.

We will see next Wednesday night. Another Wednesday night rivalry for the Penguins. Four weeks in a row when the only real rivalry was the Penguins/Flyers.

Leave it to NBC to try and bring up rivalries that died 20 years ago. Can't stand them haha.

Yea. It's reasons like that why people hate the Penguins for getting so much attention.

I mean, I can respect the Pens, they are definitely a great hockey team and deserve to be talked about. I think I'm more annoyed by NBC when they talk about the Rangers, a bad team with a good goalie and Pierre McGuire has a hard on for Captain Callahan

The sad thing is Crosby gets the bad rep for it and he doesn't even try to be in the spotlight asking for it or anything. He is actually really down to earth(like most hockey players) and does a lot for local charities.

I actually have no issue with Crosby. Just don't think he and the Penguins are the only games of importance.

Steeger's comin' back to Chi-Town! FLA Kris Versteeg and Phillipe Lefebrve to CHI for Jimmy Hayes and Dylan Olsen. Will miss Hayes, big guy with some nice hands, but I think this is big for the Hawks. Lefebrve to report to ECHL Toledo. Steeger's going to wear 23, Roszival already has 32.
