Yes, I saw it and it's a hit from behind, thus the major misconduct. It's a good call on the ice and San Jose f'd the Blues chit up from there on, so Avs and Sharks are the only unbeaten teams and it's obvious the Sharks are vastly superior (and destined for a 2nd round exit in the playoffs).

Suspension? I don't know - if I correlate with other such hits, then we're looking at 3+ games (don't know that he's a repeat offender).

Kaleta suspended 10 games and Chimera was fined for a hit on Justin Schultz in last nights game. Had no idea he was even gonna be spoken to about it.

Wow the hit on Dan Boyle, Maxim Lapierre should be kicked out of the ****ing league, he is a dirtball player.

okay guy. If you look at it more than once, you will see that brown turned at the last second to brace for the hit and ended up going down as a result. But I forgot you have your opinion on Ovi so any hit from him is gonna be dirty.

How is that a dirty hit?

I'll admit I used to bash Ovi several years ago but that was then he had a few knee on knee hits(I was at one game and saw the hot clearly) and a questionable boarding call that got him suspended(don't think he deserved it) but he has cleaned it up and became a hard hitting great player. So I have nothing against him.......except for when he plays Pittsburgh.

its true that i dont like his play, and thats cause he is always doing things like this. I watched the video a few times and see the same thing every time. Ovi gets rubbed off the puck and gets upset, then takes a run at brown. brown goes to make a pass and then ovi takes a full stride at him while staring at his numbers, then lifts up through browns upper body, which is a dangerous move, especially near the boards. watch the replay after the scrum. the clip starts after brown has turned to make a pass and ovi has plenty of time to decide if he wants to board him or not

I believe it was for the reasons stated above. I am a bit biased when it comes to ovi, but it seems like he has at least 5 dirty hits a year, so maybe there is a reason

I'm on my phone, so a bit more challenging to copy & paste, but Logan Couture basically said "you have a guy that probably shouldn't be in the league committing a dirty hit that takes out one of the world's best players."

As for the Lapierre hit, dude needs to be banned from the league.

He has a in person meeting with the NHL. 5+ games. He is a repeat offender but not within the 18 months. Was suspended a few seasons ago for four games(I think)
