Did anyone see Parros get hurt in his fight. Hit his head on the ice hard and carted off. Hope it's nothing serious

I always liked him. He put his heart in it during the playoffs, but just couldn't pull through. Leafs win though! Hopefully Parros is okay. I hate to see someone go out like that.

Nice game.

That banner raising ceremony was truly well done.

Go Hawks!!!

I didn't like the banner. Too dull looking to me. But maybe it was just because it was on tv and not in person. Maybe I'll get to see it in March when I go to the Stadium Series game with the Pens

It was mighty tasteful and well done IMO. And not to mention the entire ceremony was really produced in amazing fashion. Edzo along with Foley and Wiedeman make some great calls/speeches.

The ceremony was awesome. I just think the banner looked kinda dull. But like I said it prob looks 10 times better in person then it did on tv.

Parros sustained a concussion tonight. Nothing major. Hopefully he doesn't miss to many games. Tough start with his new team.

i didnt even notice the catch and close hand around the puck till the replay, I was pissed cause Crow caught the puck, brought it across his body with no hesitation, dropped it, and hit it down ice to end a penalty, but they blew it dead as if he was holding it. not sure on the rule and yes, most goalies hold it in the situation, but he didnt and it could of cost the hawks a lot.

btw, it was nice to see ovy shoot from a different area
how is he ever left open in the left circle?

Green was really blasting them in from the point. As I'm sure it did with Hawks fans, Caps fans should be excited for the way they played that game. I also noticed there were very few icing calls in the game. Not sure if because the rule change or the lack of pressure in the middle of the ice by both teams. Most likely the latter.

I'm still convinced that green needs to be a winger Hopefully he will stay injury free this season with his glass groin.
