Track looked pretty tough.

I didn't get to watch the mains but the heats were amazing. The 250's were really competitive and close. The 450's came out of the gate into the first corner FAST. Damn it was crazy. Wish I could have seen the mains.

I like the track design. Good variety. It could use a longer, higher speed rhythm section though.

I think Eli Tomac's LCQ holeshot was my favorite part of the night...

I wasn't a bit surprised to see Villopoto win last night. Nor was I really surprised to see Stewart screw up, I kind of expected him to be a bit off, since he didn't ride the outdoor season. Stepping away from the sport then trying to get right back where you were isn't all that easy.

I didn't like the track, seemed too slow, didn't flow real well, and weren't nearly enough "supercross style" jumps. The high flying action is what makes it exciting, to me anyway.

The Lites LCQ last lap crash with Sikes was just stupid. Drove him right off the track.

Yeah. I was bummed about that. I've been a Sipes fan for a while. Unfortunately whoever it was that said he doesn't seem like himself was dead right. Last year he really seemed to attack the tracks and ride aggressively. No evidence of that so far this year.

And how about Villopoto coming back from dead last? He went through the pack like Hitler went through Poland.

And KTM finally got a win in the big bike class. Good for them. I still don't like Dungey though.

It looks like he internationally drove him off the track. He probably didn't mean to but he better work on corner passing this week.

Villipoto is a monster. Literally . The Monster/Kawasaku team is kicking *** this year...again.

KTM has had really good riders the past few years but Dungy is what they really needed.
