2006 Cherokee Refuses to Start
So our 2006 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 refuses to start and I am at a loss as to why.
It has power (though we tried jumping it just to be safe) and I could hear an electrical sound going on whenever I turned the key but it just refuses to start.
I was able to get it to start eventually by turning the key to 'On' and rowing it through the gears a few time before putting it back in 'Park.' But that seems to be a temporary fix and I would prefer to not have to do it unless absolutely necessary. When the car did run it was not throwing any CELs.
Also I have a 500 mile trip coming up and I can't afford to get stranded if I need to stop for gas or something.
Is it possible that this is due to the throttle sensor or electric shift sensor?
Thanks in advanced!
