2 Video's - My M3 at the Track

My clutch is fast on the way out....

Crappy 14.7. I'll post the video's later of the clutch basically frying on my one run. Gotta love it. BTW: Squeaking are Teflon Rear Trailing Arm Bushings. Those of you who run poly bushings on your rigs have probably had a similar squeak at one time or another.

Cool. I had a 1991 e30 M3 and a 1996 e36 M3. They were great cars. I still miss the little e30 or "Gods chariot"

Looks like you had a good time, and that's all that counts.

My former landlord has an E30 M3 with $15k of work into it. It is a BEAST. Never been a huge fan of the E30 style, but when done right, they look great. Fun cars!

Definitely did. It's like a day of wheeling ... even if you break bad, and still had a great time, that's all that matters! It was actually my g/f's first time going to the track - she LOVED it and has been on my case about going again ASAP - this time on the bike.

Did you do anything about it or just let it go? Did they do it in winter and summer? I lubed the driver side with a silicone based lube. 12 hours later the squeak was gone. Figured I'd go a few steps better on the passenger side. I took fast drying, liquid graphite lube and sprayed all the surfaces. I then took wheel bearing type grease and lubed the same surfaces. The squeak got better for maybe an hour, but is now worse than it was before. ????

I think we should all take our trail rigs to the quarter mile see how they stack up.

The U.S. Army vaguely envisioned something bigger than a motorcycle, smaller than a truck, and undaunted by the most difficult terrain.

A few years back there was a CJ7, Golden Eagle edition there. It had 33" BFG mud tires up front and 33" Hoosier slicks in the back. It was running 11's!

I had a great system on that car. Shortly after the bushings squeaking, the power windows died, so I could hardly hear them.

An absolutely horrible 96 MPH. Stock, it runs high 13's to low 14's. Once I get my new clutch in it'll be low to mid-13's with 100+ MPH trap times.

when I would run a radial tire up front and bias plys in the back in my old 95 cobra, the pucker factor got pretty huge over 110mph...
