That's a Sherpa right there....
I gotta get one; our air mattress went flat on Saturday.

Well that's maybe a base sherpa, but you add the side boxes, and can holders and some other minor things and you are pushing 5k. I priced one and tried to keep the extras to the bare minumum and it was going to be 4800 plus tax and shipping....pushing 6k when all was said and done.

I was considering changing Coleman pop up. I have an axle out of a GW that I may try to put under it so I can get full size tires on it. Not sure how that will work or if it will
Ill have to check the axles with and I know it wont fit in the wheel wells May be not worth it. But I would love to have full size tires on it.

The other option I was just thinking of was to just dump it on the waggie frame and see how that would work. But that would increase its weight.

Any thoughts on that?

Yeah, I know.
My Sherpa menu includes a set of Sahara 18" wheels from a boardmember (cuts $350 off price), torsion axle, & side boxes. I'd add my own jerry-can holders and tongue box to house a pair of Optima batteries (that I can get for $60 each) with a solar charger. I'd be somewhere around $4500 or so, plus tent...
Still not sure which rooftop tent to get.

Does anybody have an Expedition Series RTT?
http://www.racktents.com/Tents.html
I got to play with an ARB tent the other day and really liked it; the ladder wouldn't work on a trailer though --- it's under & inside.

Expedition series is Mombasa, Mombasa and ARB are the same tent rebadged. Many people like them for the price...

If you plan on alot of washboard, I would get the leaf/shocks....

I contacted the owner of Little Guy too and could've gotten a pretty good deal on a Little Rough Rider.
I'll most likely wait and get a Sherpa. The more I look at them the more I like them.
I ordered a Rough Rider, should be ready this month, Hoping I made the right choice.
Ima 6'1 which doesn't leave very much room, if I fit comfortable, I believe it will be awesome.

I think the Little Rough Rider is a great trailer ---- if you fit in it, that is. The Global Conspiracy Against The Big & Tall has made it difficult for me...
I would've gotten one of those 3 months ago if I were 3 inches shorter and could fit in the bed better.

I got a Conqueror Compact, btw.

Here's a new offering that could make an interesting build.

I missed this post earlier... great link to show the trailer in action.

So do you have it? How is it? Mind letting us know what you paid? Thanks!

I once had a 4x8 teardrop behind my TJ. You have to pack the camper and your sleep area with your stuff. To go to sleep, you have to reach your destination and unpack/set up or you pull everything out of the way. Its a rolling tent type of thing that you still pack like a trailer.

This was packed for a long weekend at CampJeep 2 states away. I took my 2 kids with me. They had the TD, I had the tent.
