Road trip in 200,200 miles XJ

Hello,

my boyfriend and I are planning a month long camping road trip in our 2000 XJ. We're in Vancouver Canada and are planning a trip to the grand canyon then back up the coast, it's looking like a 6500km/4069mile trip. This will be in the hot month of August, but we're not planning on driving more than 6 hours a day. Obviously we'll get everything checked, fluids topped up, tires aligned etc before going. We just bought the jeep last fall so haven't had it for long but it seems like it was well taken care of previously. Do you think the distance we're attempting is crazy?

Thanks in advance!

Just be prepared in case something does happen. Whenever you have lots of miles on a vehicle, you just never can be sure when something will go wrong.

Our club calls it the "Jeep-Timebomb Theory! Some have had experience with it. I did.
