Jerry Can

I don't need to carry spare fuel in a vehicle but I do store fuel for a tractor and other equipment. (Diesel, Gasoline, Kerosene) I got tried of the cheap plastic cans and other junk on the market. I found these new Jerry cans sold by Deutsche Optik. I don't know if they are the sole source for these cans but I believe they may be.
They aren't cheap but they are very well made. They have proven to be the best fuel cans I've used. The 20 liter (5 gal +/-) are marked "Not for fuel use" in order to comply with the bed-wetting liberals on the left coast, but they make Great fuel cans!

They are far superior to the old screw-top surplus G.I. cans and the plastic wanna-be Jerry Cans.
Just thought I'd share for the folks out there that may be in the market for high quality Jerry Cans. For something that you only need to buy once, these get my vote.

Here's a link web site:

http://deutscheoptik.com/Militaria-T...T-OF-FOUR.html

You don't have to buy four at a time, they will ship single cans if you want.
Does anyone know of another source for these?

I've seen a lot over the years. Some of the old NATO ones were good but most of the screw top ones leak, or are so rusted inside that you don't dare use them for fuel.
I'm not trying to sell the ones from Deutsche Optik but they are top quality. I just wish I could find another cheaper source.

Yep, that's it. Wish I could find a less expensive source for that can, they're top quality. Didn't know they made red ones.

Specter cans are awesome. I wih I could grab myself a half dozen. My nearby army surplus sells water Jerry cans that are similar in design, but not sure if they are the same as fuel cans.

I know you can order scepter cans from the manufacturer but cannot be shipped to a us address.

Any Canadians out there want to volunteer an address and then ship a nondescript package to the states?
