jeeping destinations

im new to the jeeping scene, live in NW Illinois and finding it difficult to find info on wheeling destinations. theres the obvious, moab, rubi trail, badlands ohv, etc etc. im looking for some getaway destinations to take my family and explore the widerness. we have camping accomidations, both pop up and tent and a more than capable jeep to get us there. I just need help finding info on WHERE to go. im more into the expedition type trail vs off road park adventures but if the park fits the bill, id head there also. not looking to go mud bogging per se.

If you have a web site that lists jeeping destinations, post it up. otherwise, where do I go looking for trail information?

Are you looking for a long route that you can camp along the way on for several days? If so, those are just mostly dirt trails and are still out west, which would still be a long trek from Illinois.

Here are two good places to start.
