Doing a remote fly-in trip first week of july.

We're leaving July 3rd and will not see any sign of civilization until Friday when the pilot picks us up.

We're flying into a remote lake in a Cessna 180 with floats.

Weight is an issue therefore this will be camping with minimal supplies. Should be fun and a test to how well I can plan a trip lol.

If I go hungry I'll just hunt rabbit lmao.

The fishing on this lake is of the charts and I will try to film some of the experience and post in YouTube. I was there years ago my dad and i trekked it and it was grueling. Hence the plane lol.

Almost every cast was a bass and there are pike in this lake. Hopefully walleye and I won't go hungry lol.

Wish me luck and hopefully I come back.

I'm headed in a little section of lakes north of orillia. Very remote stuff. Crown land as far as the eye can see. Crown land equals- free land! I love this country

That would be really remote lol. This is basically land locked. If we had to walk out it would prob be 3 days. Lots if lakes and obstacles.

The Muskoka is a beautiful place. Georgian bay in some areas you would think you're on a tropical beach minus te palm trees lol.

Well.

Just arrived at home from a week in the gray wilderness!

No other people around but our group. Only sign of people we saw were float planes in the area.

Awesome, awesome trip. Bass fishing was great and the flight in te float plane was incredible. Unforgettable experience and the pilot was really cool.

Nothing like being surrounded by friends, family and endless wilderness. All of life's worries fade into distant memory and all that's left is a feeling if complete relaxation that only the wild can provide.

For a week it's survival on bare minimum and no modern day technology to help, assist or distract.

Unforgettable, amazing and completely rejuvenating. If you are into camping I recommend hiring a pilot and go away for week where no one can bother you but the deer flies.

I will post pics as soon as I get on computer

Awesome. Sounds like you had a great time....where did you find the pilot/guide? Cabin or tenting?
