Bow Hunting

Well, I started Bow Hunting Last year. I love it. I had found a good deal on a used left handed bow. Didn't get to kill anything. Was getting ready to go this year when that little weather system(Rita) came through. Where we go is pretty much gone. Most of the trees are down so We can't get in there.
Hopefully this summer when we move to Colorado I'll find a place to shoot at.

COONASH!! You live in LA. Thats one of the best spots to Bowfish! Ya gotta try it, a really good set up ( I use AMS Retreiver) costs around 100 bucks and includes EVERYTHING but the bow. Its really a blast. I started doing it while stationed in Coronado California off the pier, then moved to Chicago and did it there. Now Im in Northeast PA and while not as fun as off the pier and in the surf, it is still one of my favorite activities. Down there in LA. ya got tons of stuff to go after, from carp to Alligator Gar. So while ya live there, go for it! When ya get to Colorado, the Mulies will be waiting for ya! Have fun and stay safe.

Lake Charles huh? I was in Sulphur Helping the local police secure the roads. Spent a week in that sweet new rec center. What a mess. Still looked better than New Orleans. Too bad about not getting to hunt. I've been bowhunting off and on for about fifteen years. All the California city slickers are moving up here and buying firearms to go hunting. They don't know what the heck they're doing, and it sounds like there is a war being fought inside the woodline. None of those problems with bow season. just bought my boy a 45LB'r for Xmas. he can't wait till fall.

If you move to Colorado look me up. I grew up Bowhunting in North Dakota but havn't had the time in Colorado to do so until now (new Government job) but I have some areas we can go and I've been itching to get back out in a stand.

I've bow hunted since I was 12. I've shot 13 bucks (1 a year here in PA) and 10 of them have been with the bow. The pics was this years. (by far the nicest I've ever shot)

I have been bowhunting for 10 years now. I have a few nice bucks with a bow. I'm currently shooting a Hoyt Ultratec, but I might be getting one of the new Trykons. They are sweet shooting machines.
