Adventures NYC 2006
Just got an email from the people at backpacker magazine, and it seems like they along with the NYC parks department are hosting an adventure expo in central park and other locations in the 5 boroughs. Below is a link for those who are interested.
For the first time to my knowledge, they are opening Central Park for Camping, Kayaking, rock climbing and other adventure sports type stuff as well as having clincs and seminars, gear classes and lots of vendors.
