seriously I know you're talking about a Hemi Jeep WK....there could be all kinds of interference from stuff that sits in the engine bay of the Jeep that the designers wouldn't be accounting for, since they're made for a Ram truck.
And, if it was me, I'd build a whole new exhaust - true dual, no Y collector, 2 high-flow cats, with side pipes
The SRT8 headers will definitely fit, many people have put aftermarket SRT8 headers on their GCs over on the SRT8 forum.. This is where I got my idea, Im going to be running OBX SRT8 headers, they are cheap so if motifying needs to be done I wont feel bad hacking up $1300 headers.. You dont need new cats, HEMIs come with high flow "spun" cats from the factory but thats up to you...

MY BEST ADVICE DO WHAT JOHAN TOLD ME TO DO PUT THE STOCK CATS ON WE PUT MINE ON AND CUT THE RESONATORS OUT PUT PIPE IN THERE PLACE. WE PUT CATS AFTER THEY MADE THE TURNS. THE SRT AND 5.7 HEMI'S RUN THE BEST AND MAKE THE MOST LOW END POWER WITH THE STOCK CATS ON AND NO SMELL WITH THE CATS ON, AND NO CODES WE MADE THE OPENING 3 INCH ON STOCK CAT'S SO BETTER FLOW SOUNDS AMAZING LITTLE LOADER THEN STOCK SRT BUT MORE LOWEND TONE.
