My WK

New member here, from STL residing in SoCal. I have a 2009 WK with the 5.7 Hemi with a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler and a K&N CAI. It is metallic black, plastidipped the rims matte black, then proceeded to matte the entire car for a month or so..now it is back to just black with black rims.

Looking really good. Love the stance your rig has.

Hi,

I see you love Jeeps for off road capabilities, we love 'em for bad roads So here's something different.
Took '06 Limited and transformed to fresher Overland'ish look, by painting lower skirts, putting rims from 2013 model with 1.5" spacers and few other things.

Looks good. You should look into adding the SRT grill.

Wait, you matted your whole paintjob too?
Looks good. How did you matte the whole car? What did you use?

I've been looking for this grille for some time now. Do you know of anywhere that might have it for less?

You can buy the stuff to do it yourself for probably less than $50. Check the build threads, there's a few write ups on doing it.

Yeah I have looked at that, I attempted painting my chrome grille brilliant black to match but it looked pretty garbage compared to the rest of the body, so I was trying to go this route.

Oh do you have a stock chrome grille?

It might not be the best thing to do since the grille is probably one of the first things to be broken in a wreck, but you could try scrapyards?

But the one you linked to isn't too bad cause it comes painted too..

Gotcha. The one you're looking at isn't too bad of a deal since it comes painted.
