So I took out the storage container thingy jeep puts in the back of these jeeps and built my own so I could have more room to store stuff. This is just kind of a mock up of how I want it to look some day, I just had some scrap wood laying around so I wanted to see if it would work! So far so good, I love having a tool box in the trunk!

I also finally replaced the rear shocks, ive had my stock ones on with the lift for about a year now, all 4 of them are blown haha fronts will come
soon! It took me about 15 min to do both of them I didnt have to take the tire off or loosen anything. All i had to do was unscrew the 2 bolts that held the shock in, let the old one fall out, tighten the top bolt on the new sock, compressed with both hands and slid the bolt in the bottom hole after i got it in the little grove. (This took a few tries lol)

Baseboy391 : Very good idea !! I don't like the original container also. I planned to do something with that and after seeing your post, it will be very similar !

Also, on your last pic, is it the tip of an aftermarket exhaust or just a tip you add at the end of the stock exhaust ?

I just have a muffler and new piping back with new tip local shop did it all
For every one who is thinking about building a storage thing GO FOR IT!!! Just take out the one thats in there, turn it upside down on some wood and trace, youll have a perfect top. Just get a little creative to make a way to get under it!!

Jahlborn yours came out awesome, I wanted to make a bigger lid but my subs sit on top of my container. One of the main reasons i made this was because I had to take my subs out to get into any of the compartments the jeep one had.

I really want to get 1 or 2 of these and make them into the storage box, then I could have all my trunk room back!

If I'm not mistaken, K9 made his own custom mounts for the Rola to make it sit lower on the rails. It's a sweet set up!
